Westlight was never intended to blend in. Residence 96 extends through the building with exposures in two directions. The south-facing living spaces are filled with light, while the quieter sleeping quarters occupy the northern side—a natural separation between where life happens and where the day ends. The living room, dining area and kitchen flow easily without becoming one enormous, undefined space. The open den adds flexibility as a library, home office or television room—somewhere to sit slightly apart without disappearing entirely. The sleek kitchen features custom Italian cabinetry, quartzite counters, integrated refrigeration, Bosch appliances, gas cooking and an almost unreasonable amount of storage. Wide-plank natural oak floors soften the clean, modern lines throughout. Some of Westlight’s greatest luxuries are less obvious. Fresh, filtered outdoor air is delivered directly into the residence, while triple-glazed windows provide remarkable sound attenuation. You remain connected to the city without having to listen to quite so much of it. Upstairs, the rooftop feels more like a private resort than an amenity deck, with a 25-meter heated pool, landscaped lounging areas, grilling stations and sweeping views. Residents also enjoy a private club room with catering kitchen, a serious fitness center equipped with Peloton and Technogym equipment, and professionally staffed service that makes life easier without making a production of it. Two secure, side-by-side garage parking spaces and a separate storage unit are included. Light, air, quiet, good design and a rooftop pool above Washington—Residence 96 makes leasing feel rather permanent.
