From the Basketball Court to a $1.29M Closing: A Full-Circle Real Estate Story
Some real estate transactions are defined by the numbers. Others are defined by the journey. This recent settlement—a stunning $1.290 million family home—happens to be an unforgettable mix of both, rooted in a relationship that started long before I ever handed someone a set of house keys.
Back in high school, Kristin was my basketball coach. She was the person pushing us on the court, teaching us about grit, strategy, accountability, and what it truly means to execute as a team. Fast forward years later: Kristin and her husband, Dave, walked into a local open house. Unbeknownst to me, they were quietly starting their search for a new family home. When asked who their real estate agent was, they wrote my name down on the sign-in sheet.
Receiving that unexpected call was an incredible moment, but it wasn't the first time I had the honor of working with her family. Earlier in my real estate career, I had the privilege of representing her family in the sale of her father’s investment property in Upper Darby. Building that foundation of trust back then made taking on this next big chapter together feel like stepping right back onto the court with familiar teammates.
